Greetings All,

Its been a while since the last time that I did a blog post. Every time that I thought about/started doing one the timing did not feel right. First, I would like to thank everyone that gave to my mission trip and helped me get to where I am and being fully funded go on the trip. Yes, I am still going on the mission trip even with COVID19 happening right now. Multiple teams are keeping an eye out on my route along with the other routes that will be launching in the future.

So a few updates about the race before I get into the blog post today. As mentioned above I am still going on the World Race. If this is your first time reading my blog the World Race is an 11 month-long mission trip. During these 11 months, I will be going to 11 different countries. Them being Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia. So I am no longer going to China, instead we are going to Taiwan. While I am on this trip I will be helping with church-planting, teaching English, children's ministry, and special needs ministry along with other things. I am super excited about this trip and excited to see what God does in each country that I go to.

Now into the blog. You are probably wondering why in the world would I title my Blog Fighting Jericho, or what even is Jericho. Well on the 17th of this month the holy spirit spoke to me saying "this is Jericho, and its time to shout." Hearing this made me wonder what is he talking about, there is nothing that I would consider a Jericho in my life. So after praying and asking him to bring to attention what Jericho is in my life so I can fight it. That's when he told me exactly what the Jericho was in my life. Well, better yet the Jericho that is in our lives today.

Here is some background information on Jericho. Jericho was a city in the Jordan valley and the strongest fortress in the land of Canaan. This city was stopping the Israelites from fully entering into the promised land, the land God promised them, but something amazing happened. God told Joshua that he has delivered Jericho into his hands (Joshua 6:2). He then proceeded to tell Joshua how He would do it  (Joshua 6:3-5). This only took seven days to see the miracle that the Lord did for Joshua and the Israelites. It's also amazing to know that the number seven is the number of completion.

Knowing what Jericho was then what is the Jericho now? Well, the Jericho now is COVID19. We are seeing this virus as Jericho, but we have to remember that God has already told us that He will heal the sick (James 5:14-15) and take away any sickness (Exodus 23:25). God has already promised healing in our life, and we have passed the seventh day. So lets complete the promise that He has given us.

Its time to pray/worship and claim the healing that He has given us. Some of the people that I am going on the race with did a worship night Wednesday, and that was one of the best worship experiences that I have had even though we where all in different places. I believe that was the start of the shout. Yes, we all worship differently but a small drop of water can cause a ripple. So just imagine if we all come together, and add a drop every time we can change everything. Let's get ready to Fight Jericho I know I'm ready are you?
